📅 A Day in the life of a Senior Marketing Executive

Welcome to a sneak peek into a Monday with me as a Senior Marketing Executive. Today’s focus is all about performance marketing, strategic planning and communications. Here’s what a typical Monday looks like for me:

🌅 Morning (6:00 AM – 7:00 AM): Workout

Starting the week off strong with a morning workout doing P90. Today was a Sculp A session: a weights HIIT class, followed by some yoga to stretch out and finish.

Starting my Monday with a burst of energy! 💪 #MorningRoutine #P90workout

☕ Mid-Morning (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM): Set the tone with insights

After a morning workout, I commute into the City for work. It’s time to dive into the latest industry trends with a coffee (no breakfast as I’m doing Intermittent Fasting.) I read some articles on LinkedIn about shaping the future of marketing.

As marketers, staying ahead of industry trends is crucial. This article explores the impact of AI on consumer behaviour.

After this, I review data and analytics for the performance of our email marketing campaigns and track the data for effectiveness and see what we can do to improve open rates and engagement.

I finished a call with an agent to discuss the details of a new property deal.

🥗 Lunch (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): Refuel

I grab a delicious meal from a noodles bar and find a spot on the grass outside, with St. Paul’s Cathedral as my backdrop and what a view it is! As I enjoy my lunch, I take some time to relax and read my book called “Cypria: A Journey to the Heart of the Mediterranean” By Alex Christofi – it’s a gripping new history of Cyprus which I’ve been getting into reading a lot of history books lately, mainly around Cyprus and reading about all the historical places I have visited on the Island 📖

📝 Afternoon (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Deep dive into strategic planning

I create a detailed presentation on our marketing strategy and plan the next few months work into the calendar.

📝 Afternoon (3:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Crafting social posts

I craft some social posts for LinkedIn, creating imagery and content for the post and schedule this in for posting later in the week.

📝 Afternoon (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Scheduling email campaigns

I draft email communications to remind our customers to download our mobile app and schedule them for distribution.

🌆 Evening (5:00 PM – 10:00 PM): Unwind

As the day comes to a close, I finish reading my book during the train ride home. Once home, I cook spaghetti carbonara from scratch, enjoy dinner, and spend the rest of the evening writing a blog post.
